Getting a clean result
Take the photo from straight above, with the page filling most of the frame and even light (no shadow of your phone on it). Document makes the paper white and the writing dark; Black and white goes further and suits printed text and forms, but loses photos and colour.
Pages are fitted onto the paper size you pick and turn sideways automatically for wide photos. Same as each photo makes every page exactly the photo's shape, which is handy for receipts.
Private, and no watermark
Many online converters upload your files to their server. This one makes the PDF inside your browser, so tax papers, IDs and contracts never leave your device. There is no watermark, no page limit per day and no sign-up.
Balanced file size is about 200–500 KB per page. Pick Smaller file for email attachments with a size limit.
How do I convert a photo to PDF?
Add the photo on this page and press Make PDF. For several photos, add them all and put them in order first; they become one PDF with a page each.
How do I scan a document with my phone into a PDF?
Open this page on your phone, tap Take a photo for each page, then Make PDF. On iPhone the Notes and Files apps also have a document scanner.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
How do I make the PDF smaller?
Pick Smaller file, or Black and white for text pages. Fewer, tighter-cropped photos also help.
Can I combine many photos into one PDF?
Yes, up to 100 pages in one PDF.
Does it work with iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes in Safari on iPhone and Mac, which can open HEIC. In other browsers, the iPhone usually converts photos to JPEG when you pick them.
